DONATIONS

God has set forth very specific directives about what He expects us to give back to Him (Lev. 27:30; Deut. 14:22-23). Malachi 3:8-12 clearly teaches that we are to give Him a tithe, which is ten percent of what we produce or earn (the word tithe is based on the number ten in Hebrew). Offerings were gifts, often of material goods, given above and beyond the tithe.

Funds for the maintenance of this church will be provided by the voluntary tithes and offerings of the members and friends of the organization, or by any other means or source consistent with the principles and moral standards of this Church. Funds shall be accepted by the Church at such times and in such a way as agreed upon by the Pastor and the Board, and shall be administered by the Treasurer under their direction.
